Jilin province in Northeast China will continue to grow and achieve its revitalization through the development goals it has set for the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25), according to local media reports.
The 14th Five-Year Plan of Jilin province clarifies the province's main objectives in the fields of economic development, scientific and technological innovation, reform and opening-up, rural revitalization, the digital economy, ecological civilization, people's livelihoods and social governance.
During the period, the regional GDP of Jilin province is expected to grow by 6.5 percent. The growth rate of the per capita disposable annual income of urban households should be in line with regional economic growth, while that of rural households should be higher than that of regional economic growth.
The urbanization rate of the permanent population is to reach 63 percent, and the urban surveyed unemployment rate should be controlled below 6 percent.
