He is one of the 100 most influential youngsters from Lusophony for the year of 2020. He is Valdemar Rodrigues Augusto Tchipenhe graduated from ZJNU in June 2019. When he was a child, seeing a little boy leaving the world in his father's clinic, partly due to limited resources and equipments, the little seed of studying abroad was planted in his mind. In 2015, as the first Angolan ever to win a CSC scholarship in biotechnology overseas, from Angola to China, 15 hours of flight, spanning 12,000 kilometers, Aldermar came to ZJNU, China with his dream. He arrived at ZJNU, China, marking the start of his career. Here, he worked hard to learn biotechnology. The school library and laboratory were his favorite places. Here, he actively participates in school activities, making friends from all over the world. In 2019, after graduation, he was hired by BGI Genomics with the title of a field-applied scientist for overseas labs. The pandemic broke out. He brought the Huo-Yan Project back to Africa with his team. He finally realized his dream, and became a hero of his own nation.
