A1: 2021 is the first year for China to implement the 14th Five-Year Plan and also marks the beginning to create a new development pattern, as China is embarking on a new journey to fully build a modern socialist country.
I brought a number of proposals to this year's two sessions, covering areas such as rural revitalization, boosting employment, carbon neutrality, digital governance, the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, ecological and environmental protection, etc, reflecting my thoughts on the 14th Five-Year Plan and Long-Range Objectives Through the Year 2035.
A2: At this year's two sessions, I introduced the "Recommendations on Accelerating the Development of New Employment Forms and Stabilizing Employment", hoping to speed up the formulation of policies, laws and industry standards under the non-standard labor relations system, broaden the channels for flexible employment population to participate in insurance, and improve statistical and evaluation mechanisms for flexible employment, optimize information, certification, and matching services for new employment forms, and establish a lifelong learning and employment training system that adapts to the digital society.
Based on the research and practices of the past year, I also brought suggestions on rural revitalization to this year's meetings. I believe that the development of digital agriculture and the promotion of smart agriculture and agricultural modernization are the fundamental way to consolidate the results of poverty alleviation and promote rural revitalization. We should guide internet technology and smart agriculture to "resonate at the same frequency" and accelerate the digitalization of agricultural production.
A5: China has announced the lofty goal of carbon neutrality by 2060. How would this goal resonate with your company strategy in sustainable development? What would you do in China to help the country achieve this target?
For technology companies, promoting carbon neutrality is also a positive manifestation of fulfilling social responsibilities. This year I brought the "Recommendations on Implementing New Development Concepts and Promoting Technology Enterprises to Achieve Carbon Neutrality". In my opinion, the significance of promoting Chinese technology companies to achieve carbon neutrality is not only about energy-saving and emission reduction by technology companies themselves, but more importantly, encouraging technology companies to strengthen technological R&D and innovation, taking carbon neutrality as an opportunity to promote low-carbon technology transformation. We should focus on research and development of low-carbon technologies such as the Energy Internet and Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage Technology, as well as promoting low-carbon and green energy transformation through integration with the industrial internet.
At present, Chinese technology companies also face multiple challenges such as policies and technologies, to achieve carbon neutrality. In this regard, I suggest: further optimize the layout of data centers, improve green power procurement channels, encourage enterprises to invest in renewable energy projects and distributed energy projects, etc; build carbon neutrality supporting infrastructure, promote the development of carbon market; accelerate green technology research and development, promote the innovative application of low-carbon technologies such as green data centers, establish a number of high-tech and energy-efficient "carbon neutral data centers"; issue carbon neutral guidance for technology companies, and encourage technology companies to make carbon neutral commitments and set targets.
