7 groups, 15 individuals in Hechi honored as anti-poverty role models'

A total of 17 representatives from Guangxi's Hechi attended a grand gathering marking the nation's poverty alleviation accomplishments at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on Feb 25.

Seven groups, including the CPC Hechi Municipal Committee, and 15 individuals from Hechi such as Tang Yunshu, Hu Ge and Zhou Nanfang, were recognized as anti-poverty role models during the gathering.

“We will make persistent efforts to fully promote rural revitalization and bring further benefits for people," said Huang Rongbiao, Party secretary of Huanjiang Maonan autonomous county, who received the honor in Beijing as a representative of the CPC Huanjiang Maonan Autonomous County Committee.

"I'm very excited to be able to attend the gathering in Beijing. Our honors have fully showcased that the Central Committee of CPC highly affirmed Hechi's efforts in poverty alleviation," said Hu, director of Hechi's poverty alleviation office.
