Wuhan university provides for foreign students

More than 250 foreign students from 49 countries and regions gathered for firsthand experiences related to the Chinese Lunar New Year on Friday, in Wuhan, Hubei province.

Organized by China University of Geosciences, students from the university could prepare Chinese dishes, including boiled fish with pickled cabbage and chili and spicy potato with vinegar. They also learned a bit about calligraphy through hands-on practice.

To enrich lives during the Spring Festival, the student canteen, reading rooms, supermarket and conference rooms will be open and available for students.

The university also prepared candy gift bags and will offer free lunch on Lunar New Year's Eve, which falls on Feb 11.
