International sports, leisure park in Dahua opened to public

An international sports and leisure park in Qingren Bay, Dahua Hongshui River, Gongchuan township, Dahua Yao autonomous county, Hechi was opened on Feb 5.

The park, built by the Dahua cultural and tourism group, is expected to become a tourism resort featuring various kinds of entertainment facilities such as yachts, gardens, homestays and barbecues.

Located in the middle reaches of Hongshui River, the park covers a total area of 600 mu (40 hectares), with the total cost estimated at around 20 million yuan ($3.09 million). It is about 18 kilometers away from downtown Dahua.

Currently, the park has finished the first phase of its construction, including entertainment facilities, facilities for yachts, and roads along the river. When it is fully completed, the park will become the most influential resort in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region for health preservation, further helping the development of Dahua's tourism industry, boosting rural revitalization and balancing urban and rural development.
