BEIJING — Teaching materials used by China's primary and middle schools will be improved in both content and form to aid pupils in learning fine traditional Chinese culture.
Core ideas, humanistic spirit, and traditional virtues that belong to fine traditional Chinese culture will be further integrated into the teaching of various subjects, according to a guideline issued by the Ministry of Education.
The guideline sets an overall goal for such a move and makes systematic arrangements to see the content and forms that embody the fine culture match well with the features of various subjects, including Chinese, history, arts, and physical education.
