The ratio of Hechi citizens' scientific literacy in 2020 reached 5.5 percent, according to results of a survey released on Jan 29, which is 0.3 percentage points higher than Guangxi's appraisal target and 0.9 percentage points higher than the national target.
The scientific literacy of local citizens is a barometer for the city's development in terms of the economy, level of civilization, scientific and technological innovation and science popularization.
