Ice and snow sports season opens in N China's Hohhot

Residents have fun while skating on the Donghe Ice Rink in Hohhot, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on Dec 19 - the launch day of the 2020 Hohhot Ice and Snow Sports Season. The 40-day event, designed to widen participation in ice and snow sports, is primarily taking place on the Donghe Rink, with sub-venues set up at sites including Inner Mongolia Racecourse, Qingcheng Park, and Nanhu Wetland Park. Children take to their skates as the ice and snow sports season is launched in Hohhot on Dec 19.
