KUNMING -- An air route linking Kunming, capital of southwest China's Yunnan Province, and Bangkok, capital of Thailand, resumed operations on Thursday after almost a year of suspension due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The resumed route, operated by China Eastern Yunnan Airlines, will see a flight every Thursday using a Boeing 737 aircraft, according to the airline.
The air route was suspended in February last year due to the novel coronavirus outbreak.
The company said it will strengthen coordination, information communication and resource sharing to promote the resumption of more international air routes.
