The exhibition 'Reborn in Ordeal - The Artistic Life of Pan Yuliang' has recently opened at the Chengdu Museum in Southwest China’s Sichuan province and will run until March 14. Nearly 100 precious paintings by Pan Yuliang (1895-1977) are on display, including oil paintings, ink and color paintings, fine-line drawings, and sketches.
These paintings reflect the golden age of collision and integration of western and Chinese art in the early years of the 20th century, and tell a legendary story of a woman fulfilling her self-value through unremitting efforts.
