The high-speed motor chain unit C6041 started pilot operations between Guiyang and Liupanshui in Southwest China's Guizhou province on Dec 21.
The unit adopts new Fuxing (Rejuvenation) high-speed trains, CR300AF. It is the first time that the train type has been used in Southwest China and the first time that Guizhou's high-speed railway has used Fuxing high-speed trains.
CR300AF is self-developed by China and is 209 meters long with a maximum running speed of 250 kilometers per hour. The train can carry 613 passengers, including 48 first-class seats and 565 second-class seats.
All the seat numbers are marked with LED screens, and the train enjoys Wi-Fi coverage.
After pilot operations, the train will run along the Guiyang-Guangzhou high-speed railway route between Guiyang North Railway Station and Guangzhou South Railway Station.
