After drilling hundreds of holes in the one-meter-thick ice on the frozen lake, a group of fishermen worked together to cast a 2,000-meter-long net through the holes and under the ice.
Several hours later, the net was filled with many fish – several metric tons' worth. The haul was ultimately pulled out by horses.
"In recent years, the event has also attracted many domestic well-known logistics companies," Shan said. "Visitors can directly deliver fish that have just come out of the ice, and those who can't come to the lake can also buy fish via online platform and receive it within 48 hours."
