Southwest China's Sichuan province saw that its import and export value in the first 11 months of this year grew 20.6 percent to about 742 billion yuan ($113.5 billion), local authorities said.
During the period, Sichuan's foreign trade growth rate ranks second nationwide, according to the customs of Chengdu, the provincial capital.
From January to November, Sichuan's import and export by means of processing trade reached 468.8 billion yuan, up 25.8 percent year-on-year, accounting for 63.2 percent of the total value of Sichuan's foreign trade in the same period.
The province's exports and imports were both dominated by mechanical and electrical products.
