The 3,000-square-meter or so Memorial Hall of the Democratic Government of Pingyao County for the War of Chinese People's Resistance Against Japanese Aggression (1931-45) -- located in Pengpotou village in North China's Shanxi province -- is a platform commemorating the 70th anniversary of the victory of the war, consoling the martyrs and conducting patriotic education.
Pengpotou village is a provincial-level historical and cultural village in Shanxi province.
The village consists of more than 30 well-preserved courtyards and five forts, as well as many sites of the War of Chinese People's Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, which have created a foundation for the development of rural tourism.
