On Dec 11, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 13 new cases of confirmed infections (all were imported cases, 5 in Shanghai municipality, 2 in Jiangsu province, 2 in Guangdong province, 1 in Tianjin municipality, 1 in Zhejiang province, 1 in Fujian province and 1 in Yunnan province), no new cases of suspected infections, and no deaths. 12 patients were released from hospital after being cured. 619 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. The number of serious cases remained unchanged.
As of 24:00 on Dec 11, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland had reported 4,002 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 3,752 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 250 confirmed cases (including 4 cases in serious condition) and 3 suspected cases.
As of 24:00 on Dec 11, the National Health Commission had received reports of 86,701 confirmed cases and 4,634 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland, and in all 81,774 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 293 confirmed cases (including 5 cases in serious condition) and 3 suspected cases. 886,495 people had been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 6,904 were still under medical observation.
On Dec 11, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 17 new asymptomatic cases (including 15 imported cases). 19 asymptomatic cases were freed from medical observation (all were imported cases) and 2 (imported cases) became confirmed cases. As of 24:00 on Dec 11, 196 asymptomatic cases were still under medical observation (including 185 imported cases).
As of 24:00 on Dec 11, 8,148 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 7,377 in Hong Kong (114 had died and 5,996 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 46 in Macao (all had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 725 in Taiwan (7 had died and 595 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
