FAW-Volkswagen launched its new CC range of vehicles in Lijiang, Yunnan province on Monday. The carmaker will offer seven variants including the CC shooting-brake at prices ranging from 249,900-299,900 yuan ($38,285-$45,945).
The new CC has a class-leading 2,841-millimeter wheelbase and is 4,865 mm in length. With the third-generation 2.0 T EA888 engine, it has a maximum output of 162 kW and a top torque of 350 Nm.
The model has a number of intelligent features including a pre-crash advance warning system, Volkswagen's intelligent connected system, active info display and head-up display.
The new CC shooting-brake is the first of its kind for Volkswagen in China and is equipped with a 1,320-liter trunk, and provides rear passenger room that is competitive in the segment.
The model also comes with a panoramic "moon roof" for an expanded view and is equipped with a Harman Kardon sound system for hearing enjoyment.
