Quzhou promotes its surging digital industry in Beijing

Quzhou in East China's Zhejiang province held a special 2020 Quzhou New Materials and Digital Economy Industry Promotion Conference in Beijing on Dec 5.

Zhao Nanming, the former president of the Institute of Life Sciences and Medicine at Tsinghua University, and more than 100 representatives of well-known enterprises and scientific research institutes from Quzhou attended the event.

The cultivation of new driving forces in the city has entered a "breakthrough period". In the first three quarters of 2020, the operating incomes of Quzhou's core industries in the digital economy and the manufacturing sectors of core industries of the digital economy both ranked first in Zhejiang.

At the promotion meeting, Quzhou signed cooperation agreements with the China Federation of Industrial Economy and Beijing Graphene Technology Research Institute. Part of the proposed cooperation projects put on on-site roadshows.
