The provincial government of Northeast China's Jilin province recently signed a cooperation framework agreement with China Minmetals Corporation -- an important State-owned enterprise with metal product manufacturing and trading as its core business.
It inked the accord at a signing ceremony held on Dec 7 in Changchun, capital city of Jilin province.
China Minmetals is a key partner of Jilin, with its business in the province covering infrastructure construction, equipment manufacturing, financial services and other fields.
At present, Jilin is working on its economic and social development blueprint for the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25), to accelerate the comprehensive revitalization of Jilin in the new era of China's development.
The signing of the agreement is expected to further promote the deep integration of China Minmetals into Jilin's development program.
It will increase its investment and development, speed up implementation of agreed projects, continue to plan and lay out a number of industrial projects in the province and promote cooperation between Jilin and China Minmetals to achieve more success.
