Beijing Wtown has prepared Christmas-themed fairs, choir and parade performances, as well as ice and snow fun to spice up winter experiences for visitors since late November.
The tourism resort in northeastern Beijing's Miyun district aims to immerse tourists, especially family travelers, in a romantic and warm fairytale world.
Visitors can ride a train trimmed with Christmas decorations, walk on the light-adorned lanes and bridges, and greet workers dressed in Christmas costumes.
Drone shows, night markets full of local snacks and drinks, art workshops and theater performances of the classic ballet The Nutcracker composed by Pyotr Tchaikovsky will all be in place.
The Christmas season will last till the end of December at Beijing Wtown.
