Foreigners take to the stage in Suzhou

A myriad of performances given by foreign residents of Suzhou, East China's Jiangsu province, lit up the 2020 Suzhou International Grand Talent Show at the Modern Media Plaza in Suzhou Industrial Park on Nov 20.

Starting from August, auditions for the show attracted people from over 40 countries who are currently living and working in the city.

Sponsored by the Informational Office and Foreign Affairs Office of Suzhou municipal government and organized by the Suzhou Broadcasting System, the event aims to build a platform for cultural exchange and integration, and to promote an open and inclusive Suzhou to an international audience.

In recent years, Suzhou has been actively promoting foreign exchanges and cooperation in various fields, and the number of foreigners living, working and studying in the city has been increasing.
