On Nov 19, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 17 new cases of confirmed infections (all were imported cases, 6 in Fujian province, 4 in Shanghai municipality, 3 in Shaanxi province, 2 in Guangdong province, 1 in Beijing municipality and 1 in Sichuan province), 1 new case of suspected infections (an indigenous case in Tianjin municipality), and no deaths. 20 patients were released from hospital after being cured. 1,116 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. The number of serious cases remained unchanged.
As of 24:00 on Nov 19, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland had reported 3,752 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 3,446 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 306 confirmed cases (including 1 case in serious condition) and no suspected cases.
As of 24:00 on Nov 19, the National Health Commission had received reports of 86,398 confirmed cases and 4,634 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland, and in all 81,453 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 311 confirmed cases (including 1 case in serious condition) and 1 suspected case. 875,061 people had been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 12,412 were still under medical observation.
On Nov 19, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 14 new asymptomatic cases (all were imported cases). 59 asymptomatic cases were freed from medical observation (including 25 imported cases) and 1 (imported case) became a confirmed case. As of 24:00 on Nov 19, 373 asymptomatic cases were still under medical observation (including 367 imported cases).
As of 24:00 on Nov 19, 6,146 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 5,491 in Hong Kong (108 had died and 5,233 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 46 in Macao (all had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 609 in Taiwan (7 had died and 545 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
