Cultural and tourism organizations and enterprises in Yangzhou attended the 2020 China International Travel Mart, one of the largest travel fairs in the Asia-Pacific region, in Shanghai from Nov 16 to 18.
A variety of products such as jade pendants, lacquer jewelry boxes and innovative cultural products were displayed at Jiangsu province's four booths in the exhibition area.
Videos showing the natural beauty and intangible culture heritages of Yangzhou were also played at the "Culture City of East Asia" booth for international exchanges and cooperation.
In addition, the mascots for the 2021 International Horticultural Exhibition–two cartoon characters named Kangkang (Health) and Lele (Happy)–also appeared on sight to promote the event.
The 2020 China International Travel Mart attracted nearly 1,500 representatives and exhibitors from around 50 countries and regions. Covering an exhibition area of 45,000 square meters, the fair showcased a wide range of fields, including scenic spots, cultural and creative products and tourism services. The event moved online to enable people from home and abroad to experience the latest travel products and services, and aid business negotiations for both sellers and buyers.
