Yantai time-honored brands on display at 3rd CIIE

Five Yantai-based enterprises are participating in Shandong's exhibition area for time-honored intangible cultural heritage during the third China International Import Expo (CIIE), which runs from Nov 5-10.

Changyu Group was founded by Zhang Bishi in 1892 and has grown to become one of China's best-known wine producers. Known as the birthplace of the Chinese wine industry, Changyu has developed more than 20 wine brands.

Laizhou Zhaotai Food Co is an enterprise that specializes in processing dough figurines. Jiaodong bobo, also known as flower-shaped steamed buns, are on display.

Meanwhile, Laiyang Changrong Food Co is a leading enterprise that focuses on the famous Laiyang pears. The company's business model integrates planting, R&D, processing, marketing and cultural tourism.

Haiyang Jiwenzhai Handicraft Co enjoys a long and storied history that dates back more than 100 years ago. In the early 1990s, its products were selected by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to be given as gifts to state guests.

The company focuses on the independent research and development, design and production of handicraft artworks, and its creations have been honored with numerous awards. Yantai Qiyuan Clothing Co is a 103-year-old company that manufactures cheongsam.
