Advanced agricultural machines and supporting technology were exhibited at an annual promotion and exhibition for far development in Shaanxi province. It was the first major agricultural high-tech achievement expo in China to be held both online and offline.
An automatic sickle, small-sized tillers, a planting technology that prevents toxins from entering cherry seedlings and automatic fertilizer injectors were unveiled at the 27th China Yangling Agricultural Hi-tech Fair, which ran from Oct 22 to 26.
Themed "Technological innovation leads to high-quality growth", the fair featured more than 100 activities in six indoor and outdoor exhibition halls and attracted participants from home and abroad.
Yangling, in the western part of Xi'an, Shaanxi province, has been home to the Agricultural High-Tech Industrial Demonstration Zone since 1997.
Starting from 1994, the fair has been held annually in Yangling and attracted thousands of agricultural companies and scientific research institutions from more than 70 countries worldwide.
