The foreign trade volume in Quzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, increased 1.71 percent year-on-year to 24.69 billion yuan ($3.71 billion) in the first nine months of this year, local media reported on Oct 20.
In the first half of this year, Quzhou government rolled out an array of favorable policies to support foreign trade companies amid the COVID-19 epidemic.
“Thanks to the support from government departments, our business has recovered to the state before the epidemic,” said Chai Huifang, director of the foreign trade department of Quzhou Naijiate Vehicle Co Ltd.
Founded in 2010, Naijiate manufactures electric bicycles for markets such as the United States, Turkey, Italy, and Canada.
With the assistance of the Quzhou government, Naijiate has been able to expand its presence in international markets, according to Chai.
