The 2020 China (Xi'an) E-Commerce Expo opened on Oct 15 in Xi’an, Shaanxi province in Northwest China, with the aim of further promoting the development of e-commerce, and hosting joint discussions about cooperation opportunities.
Sponsored by the Xi'an Municipal People's Government, undertaken by the Xi'an Municipal Bureau of Commerce and Xi'an Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the Shaanxi Provincial E-Commerce Industry Association and the Xi'an E-Commerce Association, and implemented by the Western International Exhibition (Shaanxi) Co., Ltd., the Expo has 1,500 international standard booths, with a total exhibition area of about 30,000 square meters.
The exhibition space has been divided into seven exhibition areas, namely: the development of e-commerce; the exhibition of e-commerce for supporting the poor; the comprehensive exhibition of cross-border e-commerce services; the exhibition of smart cities; the comprehensive exhibition area of e-commerce; the "Internet-plus" exhibition area; and the exhibition area of e-commerce products.
