Sri Lanka, China sign supplementary agreement on water supply, technology cooperation

Hu Wei (2nd R), Charge d'affaires of the Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka, and Vasudeva Nanayakkara (3rd R), Sri Lankan Minister of Water Supply, sign a supplementary agreement in Colombo, capital of Sri Lanka, on Oct 14, 2020. Sri Lanka and China on Wednesday signed a supplementary agreement on a Memorandum of Understanding on water research and technology cooperation, aimed at providing clean drinking water to several areas of the island country, a statement from the Chinese Embassy to Sri Lanka said.
