Registration for online Wuhan Marathon launched

The online race of 5th Wuhan Marathon is slated to trigger on Nov. 8,2020. Its registration will open from Oct.12 to Nov. 7, the organizing committee announced on Monday.

The event consists of the marathon (42.195 km), the half-marathon (21.0975 km), the 5-year anniversary run(5 km) and the parent-child run(3km).

Runners can now register on the designated APP "悦跑圈". According to the organizing committee, the top 800 competitiors will have direct access to 2021 Wuhan Marathon.

The 2020 Wuhan Marathon, originally set for April 12, was postponed to the second half of the year to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. The decision has been made to avoid public gathering and ensure the health and safety of participants.
