During the combined National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, over 4.43 million visits were made to Quanzhou, a city in East China's Fujian province. According to Quanzhou's municipal bureau of culture and tourism, the city achieved tourism revenue of 4.25 billion yuan ($632.77 million).
Quanzhou launched 106 cultural tourism activities during the eight-day extended break, which helped boost the development of the culture and tourism market.
