Hechi promotes rural governance with innovative systems

According to the Hechi municipal agriculture and rural affairs bureau, the city has built five innovative systems to promote rural governance during the process of its in-depth implementation of the rural revitalization strategy in recent years, achieving remarkable results.

A grassroots organization construction system was formed to implement the main responsibility of grassroots Party building. Since the beginning of this year, Party organizations at all levels held more than 300 special meetings, which resolved more than 1,500 prominent problems in rural governance.

The city has promoted a self-government management system, providing a platform for villagers to discuss and deal with matters by themselves. The Village Rules and Regulations Agreement was also modified and improved to guide villages to undertake internal dispute mediation and public welfare undertakings.

The city has built a law-abiding behavioral system. The rural social governance mechanism of deploying police, prosecutors, and judges in villages has helped provide grassroots legal affairs consultations, conflict resolutions, and mass rights protection in a timely fashion. In addition, the intelligent construction of the comprehensive management center was accelerated to expand the social security prevention and control monitoring system, as well as to improve the social management and control capabilities.

In addition, the city has focused on promoting social morals and core socialist values. It has also vigorously implemented a poverty alleviation industry project to help impoverished people earn stable incomes.
