Yangzhou Aviation Museum, which opened to the public Sept 21, is the first comprehensive exhibition hall of aviation culture in China.
Located in the Yangzhou Biodiverse and Sci-Tech City, the museum is made up of two pavilions and covers 6,000 square meters. It is a cultural and expo venue integrating aviation science, wetland beauty, and national defense education.
Its cultural pavilion depicts the history and development of China's aviation industry. There are also 23 models of landmark aircrafts in modern Chinese aviation history on display.
Visitors can experience military physical training, watch 5G films, simulate flight and take part in drone competitions in the experience pavilion.
As part of Yangzhou Aviation Park, which is currently under construction, the exhibition hall will look like two red lanterns from a distance.
Zhou Guoqiang from China Aviation Industry Corporation, said the Yangzhou Aviation Museum is a new attempt to display together aviation products and technologies, and provide cultural education on aviation development.
