Hechi's industrial output value above designated size rises

From January to August, the total industrial output value above designated size of Hechi, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region increased by 3.4 percent year-on-year, an increase of 2.21 percentage points than that from January to June. The industrial added value increased by 0.8 percent year-on-year.

The city's economy is recovering steadily and rebounding from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic earlier this year.

Since the beginning of this year, Hechi has focused on launching six major actions, including creating a clean political and ecological action, creating a united and harmonious social ecological action, creating a beautiful natural ecological action, implementing targeted poverty alleviation actions, implementing infrastructure construction tackling actions, as well as implementing industrial transformation and upgrading actions.

The city has made every effort to stabilize employment, finance, foreign trade, foreign capital, investment, and expectations. It has implemented tasks to ensure basic employment, basic people's livelihoods, market players, food and energy security, industrial supply chain stability, as well as grassroots operations. It has also simultaneously promoted epidemic prevention and control measures, as well as economic and social development.

Hechi has vigorously promoted high-quality development projects of 100 billion yuan ($14.73 billion) industries, implemented the enterprise resumption and production policy, as well as made efforts to promote industrial poverty alleviation.
