The 10th International Design Festival centered on bridging people's social distance will be held in Beijing on Sept 25, according to the organizers.
Themed "Beyond the Boundaries", the organizers said this year's festival will organize almost 70 activities, including exhibitions, forums and parent-child events.
The festival will attempt to create something new about the exhibitions as it will focus more on the integration of new media and the traditional Chinese opera. Around nine artists from Mexico have been invited to express their love for aesthetic with Spanish words and video shows.
The forums, meanwhile, will focus on exploring how to bridge people's social distance, and how people actively react to the changing environment. The forums have invited some professional designers from home and abroad to explore the recreation of minimalist design.
The festival, which will coincide with the Golden Week of the National Day holiday, will last two weeks.
