Teixeira, who transferred to China in 2015, spoke of his two daughters. The younger one, a 6-year-old, is in China to start her education in Changsha, Hunan province. His other daughter, 21, is still in Brazil.
"Now I have a third one, Wang," Teixeira said. "I treat her as my third daughter."
In 2019, Teixeira joined the company's campaign against poverty. Every three months, he drops in on Dikang to deliver poverty-relief materials and buy local produce from poor families.
