Railway crews have their own brand of nightlife

Silhouetted in the dark night by the harsh light emitted by portable lamps, railroad men wearing yellow jackets, worked feverishly on Monday to complete repairs and perform maintenanceon the eastern section of the Shanghai-Kunming railway in Kaili, Guizhou province.

To ensure safe railway operations, crews of China Railway Chengdu Group have made use of the night recently to replace damaged rails and correct other safety hazards on the 605 kilometersection.
