Yantai to be spotlighted at China cultural tourism fair

The first China International Cultural Tourism Fair will be held at the Shandong International Convention and Exhibition Center from Sept 17 to 21 in Jinan, capital of East China's Shandong province.

The expo will consist of 11 exhibition areas available via both online and offline channels.

Yantai's exhibition area will showcase the city's cultural and tourism attractions and focus on the protection of wild animals, marine ranches, wine tasting, cheongsam displays, and martial art performances.

A total of 20 of the city's intangible cultural heritage items will be displayed as well. The series includes woolen embroidery, dough modeling, Laizhou brushes, gourd carving, and straw weaving.
