Hechi agricultural products gain popularity in Guangdong

Hechi specialties have been welcomed by Guangdong enterprises and people at the 18th Guangxi Famous and Special Agricultural Products Fair, which was held in Guangzhou, Guangdong province from Aug 28 to 30.

A total of 26 Guangdong enterprises intended to invest in agricultural projects in Hechi and bought high-quality agricultural products at the fair. The total contracted amount was 985 million yuan ($143.95 million), of which the contracted amount for purchase was 645 million yuan.

Hechi organized a total of 43 companies to participate in the trade fair, exhibiting 201 representative Hechi specialties, such as mulberry silk products, camellia oil, selenium-rich rice, wild plants in forests and mountains, livestock and poultry products, high-quality teas, health drinks, cured meats, fresh food, as well as fruit.

Hechi launched promotions, live streams, and on-site marketing activities at the trade fair. A Guangdong company signed a 40 million yuan follow-up contract. In addition, 19 business customers had been organized to take part in tastings and negotiations at the Hechi exhibition area, reaching a number of purchase intentions.
