The 2020 Ejine China-Mongolia International Commodity Trade Fair is scheduled to occur at the Juyan Culture City of Ejine Banner in Alshaa League, in North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, from Sept 27 to Oct 10.
The fair’s dates were announced at a press conference in Inner Mongolia’s capital city Hohhot on Sept 4.
Organizers stated that the Ejine China-Mongolia International Commodity Fair has been held four consecutive times. This year’s event is listed as one of the nine major exhibition activities in Inner Mongolia.
The two-week-long trade fair will feature a 7,000-square-meter indoor exhibition area and a 10,000-square-meter outdoor exhibition area. Approximately 10,000 commodities will be displayed at 400 exhibition booths.
The exhibited items will include ethnic costumes, specialty foods, daily necessities, cultural and creative products, handicrafts, ornamental stones and gems.
In addition to exhibitions, other activities, such as the Alshaa High-quality Sustainable Development Forum and a cultural experience hiking activity in Alshaa League, will also take place.
Yang Guoshun, deputy head of Alshaa League Administrative Office, said that Alshaa has a vast territory, rich resources and profound history.
Alshaa is home to the only desert geological park globally, and the launch site of the Shenzhou crewed spacecraft and the Tiangong spacecraft. It’s also the only place in China where Bactrian camels live in the wild.
