Police in Southwest China's Yunnan province have cracked a case of drug trafficking, catching three suspects and seizing 23.7 kg of meth.
After receiving a tip-off earlier this year, police in Maguan county dispatched a task force to investigate the case.
On Aug 31, the suspects were found to be carrying large amounts of drugs into China. At around 11:40 p.m. the same day, they were nabbed in the city of Gejiu, and the drugs were also seized on the spot.
Further investigation is underway.
Yunnan is a major front in China's battle against drug crime, as it borders the Golden Triangle known for its rampant drug production and trafficking.
