The 13th China (Chuanjiang) Home Textile Drawings Fair, which kicked off at the Nantong Home Textile City in Tongzhou district, Nantong on Sept 2, has leveraged livestreams to promote the sales of home textile products and drawings in the light of the COVID-19 outbreak.

According to the organizers, 14 of the 52 exhibitors showcased their offerings online from Sept 2 to 3.

Meanwhile, awarded works of the 2020 Zhang Jian Cup China International Home Textile Design Competition and a home textile drawing competition were also showcased at an offline exhibition, which opened free to the public.

"Nantong Home Textile City aims to build the largest livestreaming center for the home textile industry in China and achieve a win-win integration of online and offline fairs," said Shao Aijun, Party secretary of Chuanjiang town, where the home textile market is located.

Officials said the market has partnered with several home textile livestreaming centers to ensure that the online business can be operated in a more systematic, professional and efficient manner.
