2020 Zhongguancun Forum set to open

The Office of the Organizing Committee of the Zhongguancun Forum announced today that the 2020 Zhongguancun Forum will be held in Beijing from Sept 17 to Sept 20.

With a theme of "Cooperative Innovation·Meeting Challenges Together", this year’s forum will conduct over 50 activities in four sections: conference, exhibition, transaction and product release.

At the opening conference, Nobel Prize laureates and Fields Medal winners and other top scientists, as well as industry leaders and representatives of renowned multinational companies, and start-ups will exchange views and communicate on "people's livelihoods and well-being under the global epidemic".

The 23rd China Beijing International High-Tech Expo will be held for the first time as an exhibition section of the Zhongguancun Forum.

In addition, the forum will introduce a technology trading section to promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements and technology transactions to achieve the goal of "Global Buying, Global Selling".

Meanwhile, seven events including the launch of major achievements and the first launch of new technologies and products will also take place in Zhongguancun.

With a distinct theme, a gathering of big names and high-end projects, the forum will be a combination of online and offline presentations.

Overseas guests will mainly participate online, while offline participants are expected to include both domestic and foreign guests.

The Zhongguancun Forum was founded in 2007 and has been successfully held for 11 years.

It strives to be an international scientific exchange and cooperation platform that integrates academic exchange and exhibition, transactions and release of innovative achievements.
