The first stage of the Dulaying international land-sea logistics port in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, will be completed by the end of this year. The facility will serve as a logistics hub for the New International Land-Sea Corridor.

The port began construction in December 2018 and will have an annual freight volume of 8 million metric tons. It is located in the Guiyang Free Trade Zone, from where cargo can be transported to cities across China utilizing the Shanghai-Kunming railway, Sichuan-Guizhou railway, Guizhou-Guangxi railway and Guiyang-Guangzhou railway.

With such an advantageous location, the port will coordinate with Guiyang Free Trade Zone to become an inland dry port with improved customs clearance efficiency and reduced freight transport costs.

Currently, a new comprehensive logistics network is being constructed at the park, which utilizes multimodal transport, modern logistics, e-commerce, logistics finance, logistics information and processing trade.

The first stage of the port's development includes facilities for bulk cargoes such as grain and oil, steel and building materials. In contrast, the second stage construction will focus on high-speed railway transport, international imports and exports, multimodal transport, processing trade, e-commerce and supply chain finance.

So far, over 600 companies intend to settle in the port. Guizhou Lugangtong Logistics Co, one of the interested companies, has realized 16-hour direct expressway transport between Guiyang and Hong Kong. In the future, the company will be able to rely on the port to provide better logistics services.
