Shanxi University to expand partnership with Yangquan city

A delegation from Shanxi University (SXU) led by its vice-president Zhou Xiaoji recently went to Yangquan city in Shanxi province to discuss university-city cooperation.

Zhou explained the development of SXU and its current situation and gave a briefing on the university's faculty and subject structure.

Both sides reached consensus that Shanxi University and Yangquan city had potential to work together through joint projects to contribute to the city's economic transformation and development.

They also held talks about cooperate on the internet of things and the new generation of information technology, during a seminar attended by university delegates and city government officials.
