Over the past few days, several Zhongguancun-based companies – including Cambricon, Qi An Xin, Geovis, Tinavi, Eyebright and SinoCellTech – have been listed on the Science and Technology Innovation Board.
Since the Science and Technology Innovation Board began trading, 144 companies have been listed, of which 27 are in Beijing, accounting for 19 percent of the total.
In July, five companies from Zhongguancun were officially listed on the Science and Technology Innovation Board. After listing, their stock prices rose quickly and their market value skyrocketed. The soaring stock prices have been attributed to the companies’ hard and core technology strength.
A number of companies are currently waiting to be listed, including SinoHytec, JenKem and LabTech.
Cambricon is a leading company in the artificial intelligence industry and one of the few companies in the world to have mastered the production of intelligent chips and their system software.
Qi An Xin is an important company in the cybersecurity industry and the official cybersecurity service and anti-virus software sponsor for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics and Paralympics.
Geovis has independently developed digital earth products and 49 core technologies and has mature solutions in multiple application fields, including transportation, meteorology, oceans, environmental protection and emergency response.
SinoCellTech has established a product pipeline containing 21 innovative drugs and two biosimilar drugs, covering four disease fields and four types of biologic drugs.
Tinavi is responsible for developing the Tirobot orthopedic robot system, the only robot system in the world that is capable of performing orthopedic trauma surgery and full-segment spinal surgery. The company set the standard for domestic medical surgery robots.
Eyebright is the first domestic manufacturer of high-end refractive intraocular lenses – for which it holds independent intellectual property rights. The company has broken the monopoly of foreign manufacturers in the field of high-end intraocular lenses.
