Du'an high-tech drone project enters mass production stage

The mass production ceremony of the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) project of Guangxi Zhuangzhi Xiongxin Technology Development Co was held in Sandao Bay Aviation Industry-University-Research Base of Du'an Yao autonomous county, Hechi on July 30.

The products developed and produced by the company are mainly divided into three categories: electric, hybrid, and pure oil. They cover a variety of fields, such as education and training, plant protection, power fuses, urban fire protection, fire investigation, forest fire fighting, river patrol, surveying and mapping, as well as materials transportation in mountainous areas.

The company also cooperates with many large-scale well-known companies like DJI and Zongheng Group to carry out joint research and development, providing customers with consulting, sales, teaching, training, and other services.

Currently, the UAV project's products that have been put into mass production include entry-level teaching drones for daily training and racing, plant protection drones for seed sowing, particle feeding, and orchard mist spraying, as well as forest fire monitoring drones that can quickly reach the fire site for airdropping fire extinguishing bombs and spraying fire extinguishing agents.

According to Zeng Jichun, assistant general manager and director of the company's public relations department, Guangxi Zhuangzhi Xiongxin Technology Development Co currently has more than 30 formal employees, while the UAV project's facilities and equipment have been basically installed in place and debugged. The output value of the company this year is expected to exceed 20 million yuan ($2.87 million).

A number of colleges and vocational technical institutes also announced that they have set up UAV training bases with the company at the ceremony to further explore integration in personnel training and transportation, information sharing, as well as drone market applications.
