Furong Town is dubbed as "an ancient town hanging on the waterfalls". Located in Xiangxi Tujia and Miao autonomous prefecture in Hunan province, it has a unique landscape of hills and rivers. A spectacular complex of stilted residences stands on both sides of the waterfall.
Furong Town is also home to some renowned historical heritage, including the 10th-century inscribed bronze pillar and Western Han (206 BC-AD 24) tombs, which have been attracting an increasing number of tourists in recent years.
