Sijing Town in Songjiang district, East China’s Shanghai, is located where four streams converge. Rich in natural resources, the town has drawn many merchants and vendors and has been a transportation and distribution hub for agricultural products since ancient times.
The town is currently undergoing a large-scale reconstruction, but classic historical sites and scenic spots such as the Anfang Pagoda and the Fulian Bridge will be left untouched. In 2014, Sijing Town was rated as a "national-level historical and cultural town".
