According to the Hechi culture, tourism, sports, radio and television bureau, the city has received a total of 64 tour groups from other parts of the country in only four days since it received approval from the Guangxi Culture and Tourism Department to resume cross-provincial tourism on July 16.
After receiving approval on the resumption of cross-provincial tourism, Hechi immediately held a tourism promotion activity, attracting the participation of more than 150 people, including representatives of 100 group travel agencies, in which it launched a number of attractive tourism routes.
Hechi ushered in large-scale cross-provincial travel groups on July 18. Guangzhou Zhongxin Travel Agency Co and Guangxi Leyou Tianxia International Travel Agency organized more than 440 tourists from Guangdong province to experience longevity and folk customs tours in scenic spots of Dahua Yao autonomous county, Bama Yao autonomous county, and Nandan county.
In addition, cultural and tourism administration departments, as well as tourism companies in Hechi have taken active actions. The exchanges and cooperation between tourism associations in and out Guangxi, as well as travel agencies and tourism suppliers have been strengthened to fully promote the recovery of the cultural tourism market. Among the 62 tourist groups that Hechi has received, there were 3,155 tourists from Shaanxi province, Sichuan province, Chongqing, Hunan province, Guangdong province, Guizhou province, Yunnan province, Shanghai, Zhejiang province, and other places from around the country.
