GLP, a global logistics and real estate industry leader, will build a smart logistics park in the China-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City, an inter-governmental project between Singapore and China in Binhai New Area.
It plans to invest 300 million yuan($42.84 million)to build a smart logistics industrial park with a total area of about 8.44 hectares. The park will mainly promote the AI technologies, creating a smart logistics park through information system, Internet of Things, computer vision, big data and other information technologies.
The park is located in the Eco-Innovation Park (EIP) which is developed by SSTEC with a planning area of 175 hectares.
It is close to important transportation hubs such as Tianjin Port, Tianjin Binhai International Airport and linked to the surrounding major cities via expressways and railways.
Enterprises that settled in EIP can rent the green ready-built factories or purchase land to build their factories and establish their bases. The area can also serve as a business development platform to form an innovative business cooperation model with enterprises and service organizations in the surrounding areas to provide services in different fields for TBNA and northern China.
